A few weeks ago I spent a majority of my
time riding between places on buses and living out of a bag. Now- that
sounds pretty homely- but I assure you it's much more rock and roll
chic. Between Boston and New York: these are the stories of what I did-
Everything from a personalized account of my concert experience to my
attendance at a shopping block event hosted by Refinery 29; the amazing
people I met; and of course, my in-life style/what I wore during the
time period. Enjoy.

My weekend began with some British boys and their guitars (doesn't it always?)

I went and saw a band called Temples at the Paradise Rock Club.

I
didn't know what to expect as I walked behind the venue, in a small
alleyway to the small club, on Commonwealth.I can assure you, seeing the
entire band was not a prediction.

It
was a few hours before the show, and there they all were, smoking by
the door that led to the holy cave that was backstage. What I remember
most while passing the door, was the amount of amazing hair I saw as I
hastily made it look like I hadn't even noticed them.

Fast
forward, to after the show- although I feel obligated to note they
played unlike any boys I've seen before. Their guitar sounds were so
heavy and strummed in your heart and down to your toes.

I
met up with a friend I made at the merch stand, he sent me on a wild
chase to ask the whole crew and management to find a pen to get my album
signed. I was being overflowed with British accents and smiles, tattoos
and hair. I saw a groupie standing off to the side- you can always
tell- so I approached her and smiled. Her name was Yvonne and she turned
out to be the bass players girlfriend. We became lovely tour friends
and she took me around and got all the boys in band to sign my album. It
was a crazy start to a long weekend.

I
left the venue in a rush and hastily said my goodbyes to the band and
Yvonne, but not before hugs and hopes to see one another again.

I wore my wanna-be Burberry scarf and acid wash jean jacket.

Tights, brogues, a tan top, and skirt.

Although I was sad to leave the party early- I had a bus to catch to New York.

Next post on New York adventures coming soon ;P

Fall Outfit

Comfy fall attire is a must as the days start getting colder! I've been chilling out in my black Harem pants and turtle neck both from Forever 21. My bag is from Guess and my shoes are Topshop. My denim jacket is vintage 90s from an Alternative thrift store in Cambridge, Boston called Garment District!
