NYC Blogger Meet Up

This week I visited New York City to attend the NYC Blogger Meet Up and Dermalogica event! It was a fantastic chance to visit the city and meet all my favorite tumblr style blogs.
Before meeting everyone I went down the street to Old Cafe Reggio, a New York coffee shop, the first place to serve cappuccino in the city. It was beautiful and detailed. The slightly dark atmosphere was perfect for the cafe. Knowing before going, this was a place that my favorite author, Jack Kerouac used to sit and write his marvelous stories, drinking coffee with Ginsberg or Corso and other Beatniks. It was an amazing feeling to sit in a place that I admired so much. Also, the coffee was amazing.

Meeting at Washington Sq Park was a sight of it's own, I have never been before, but the exuding flowers and outstanding arch made me instantly fall head over heals. The locals were, naturally being in New York, always entertaining:

After grouping up at the park, the bloggers and I went for a stroll in Soho to do some serious shopping. There I picked up a romper from American Apparel, a top from TopShop, and lastly a top from Zara.

While shopping, we ran in to the lovely Danielle Bernstein. I think we can all collectively agree that she is a massive inspiration to us social media style bloggers and casually running in to her in the street was practically a dream come true!

It was the perfect day to walk around the city and get to know each other!

After walking around we went to the Dermalogica store, receiving complimentary facials (which I strongly recommend because now my face feels incredible) and even got to meet a surprise guest speaker, Phillip Picardi, Online Beauty Directer at Teen Vogue.
It was the perfect end to an amazing day.
I would like to give special thanks to Devi and Lucy for putting together such a wonderful meet up!
