Music Madnes

This month has been packed with new releases from varying artists! October has done my ears a serious justice! These were just a few things I've been constantly listening to this month while on the way to school, walking, or just relaxing and I would highly recommend listening to some of it!
Enjoy!

The 1975- This band is absolutely incredible. I saw them last night at their show in Boston and their blend of indie rock and chilled vibes was a recipe for a perfect evening. Not only are they musically talented, but really nice boys. I had the pleasure of meeting them after the show and they were all very direct and humbling, especially the lead singer Matt Healy. He was positively mesmerizing to talk to and his drippy Manchester accent only added to his charm. I think these boys will go really far in music as they've already turned down big time offers from people like, Rihanna and the Arctic Monkeys! Definitely an album worth listening to!
Favorite Songs: Pressure

Haim (Days Are Gone)- I love this album. It features music that some old time fans will recognize like my favorites Falling and Forever, but has some great new girl power smashes like The Wire. Their vibes are amazing!
Favorite Song: My Song 5

The Arctic Monkeys- The heavy sounds of this album are enough to make anyone feel completely bad, in all the right ways. I like to listen to this on my way to school, It gives me a confident boost for today.
 Favorite Song: Wanna Be Yours
Drake (Nothing Was The Same)- The wait was definitely worth it for this album. Drake slays in every track and continues to hold his claim of being one of the best rappers of this generation. It's smooth and good to relax to.
Favorite Song: Wu-Tang Forever

Ellie Goulding (Halycon)- At first I was really hesitant to get this album because I wasn't sure about my feelings about Ellie Goulding, but after hearing her single Burn, I just had to. That still is the best song on the album for me but the album is amazing song-to-song. It's never dull and the sounds are new and fresh. Such a good one.
Favorite Song: Ritual

Ariana Grande (Yours Truly)- This is a very sugary, feel good kind of album. Although, it is really different from the singles released from the album, it still doesn't disappoint. Her vocal ranges are ridiculously impressive and I love the sweet sound of her voice. It reminds me a lot of old New York and Broadway, which is really new and inventive.
Favorite Song: Better Left Unsaid

Miley Cyrus (Bangerz)- Been listening to this non-stop since it's debut yesterday! As expected this album is completely crazy (but in an amazing, party, wild kind of way)! She does the unexpected and fixed up a smash pop album.
Favorite Song: Love, Money, Party ft. Big Sean

Foy Vance (Joy of Nothing)- This is album is perfect for a night in, snuggling in your blankets and drinking tea. It's so relaxing. I really looking forward to see him live next week!
Favorite Song: Feel For Me

Lorde (Pure Heroine)- This album was much anticipated, as I really loved her EP- The album shows familiar songs like Royals and Tennis Court. It's a very feminine, power, album. Her voice is completely unique and it's only even more incredible when you remember she's only 16. I expect really great things from Lorde!
Favorite Song: Royals
